During science week each class learnt about different areas of science and carried out science experiments. We held a science assembly at the end of the week so that each class could show the rest of the school what they had been learning. We also held a science fair to show parents and careers what we had learnt during the week.
During our science week assembly Year 4 showed us some experiments and explained what they had been learning.
During our science week assembly Year 1 showed us how they had measured rain water, learnt about chicks and gone on a spring walk looking for signs of spring.
During science week Year 3 learnt how to make flubber
Here is a video made by Year 3 showing one of the experiments they carried out during our science week
On World Book Day 2018 we dressed up as our favourite book character. At morning assembly each teacher had to pitch a book to the school, then at 10.20am children could choose which story they would like to go and listen to. Throughout the day the bell would ring and we had to stop what we were doing and read a book. We also relaunched our library which had undergone a makeover and we were pleased to welcome the Mayor of Dacorum to school to officially reopen the library .
This film should help you find the right place to wait when you return to school. At the end of the day instead of going in to class your teacher will bring you out to your grown-up and you follow the same route out.
